A Seminar and exhibition was arranged by Women's Development Center, UET, Taxila on the topic "UNITE! Invest to Prevent Violence against Women and Girls" on 7th Dec 2023 in Multipurpose Hall of the University which was attended by large number female faculty and students.

Ms. Kainat Azhar, Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP), Taxila/Wah Circle was the Chief Guest. She delivered a lecture about Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Act and Anti Harassment Act, Government initiatives i.e DAARUL FALLAH, DAARUL AMMAN, Gender Based Discrimination, Harassment, Violence and Police Helpline 1043 specifically for women protection.

Honorable Chief Guest admired Muhammad Akmal Hussain, Incharge/Focal Person, Women Development Center for arranging a useful seminar.
