Applications
are invited from the candidates for all categories (including
Non-subsidized) for admission to the following undergraduate courses:
1.
Civil Engineering
2. Computer Engineering
3. Electrical Engineering
4. Mechanical Engineering
5. Software Engineering
6. Telecommunication Engineering
1.
Eligibility:
a)
FSc (Pre-Engineering) or its equivalent examination passed up
to annual 2007 with a minimum of 60% marks, excluding NCC, Hifz-e-Quran
marks, where applicable.
b) FSc with Math, Physics and Computer Science as major subjects
are eligible only for admission to Computer Engineering &
Software Engineering.
c) Domicile of the Punjab province.
d) Diploma in relevant technology passed from the Punjab Board
of Technical Education Lahore (for seats reserved for the diploma
holders).
e) Should have appeared in the combined entry test at any centre
conducted by UET, Lahore.
2.
Prospectus including Application Forms shall be available at a
cost Rs.300/- per copy on all the working days
from 26th August to 10th September 2007.(Extended
to 11-09-07 upto 1:00 PM)

The
prospectus can also be obtained by post sending bank draft of
Rs. 400/- issued by any branch of Habib Bank Ltd. in
favor of the Treasurer, University of Engineering & Technology,
Taxila payable at Habib Bank Ltd. UET Taxila Branch. Cheques are
not acceptable.

Starting date for receipt of applications 28th
August 2007.
4. Last date for receipt of applications
10th September 2007.(Extended
to 11-09-07 upto 1:00 PM)
5. The applications may be submitted
by hand or by post.

in the Admission Office (Civil Engineering Block), UET Taxila
on all working days (Monday through Saturday) from 9.00 am to
1.00 pm (up to 4.00 pm on the last day).
By Post: to the
Convener, Admission Committee under Registered post or any courier
service.
NOTE:
1.

day shall not be entertained, irrespective of the date
