UET Taxila participated in the most famous software and hardware competition, PROCOM.net, held in FAST-NU Karachi on 2nd May, 2009. By the grace of Almighty Allah our teams performed excellently in the competition.

PROCOM.net ‘09 was the 10th all Pakistan mega event of its kind staged in the Karachi. It encompassed sub events relating to the fields of IT, Engineering, Business and Multimedia. In addition to being an academic oriented event, PROCOM.net had evolved itself into a happening event of the Karachi social scene.

PROCOM.net ’09 comprised various creative, technological, and business competitions at all-Pakistan level. It included competitions in engineering, information technology, business and multimedia. The competitions included Robotics, Hardware Projects, Engineering Problem Solving, Dynamic Programming, Software Projects, Computer Graphics, Business Plan, Harvard Case Simulation, Declamation Competition, Quiz and Music/Video.

This year more than 40 prestigious universities and institutes from all over Pakistan participated in this IT, Engineering and Business extravaganza. The universities included LUMS, NUST, UET Taxila, UET Lahore, NED Karachi, UIT Karachi etc.
