Being part of the dynamic world of Information Technology, the students of Computer and Software Engineering disciplines of our esteemed University have always been striving to make their mark in creative and productive IT events.

The 2nd Database Exhibition 2008 held on 22nd and 23rd April 2008, was yet another milestone in our journey to progress. In this exhibition, the talented students of 2k5-Computers and 2k5-Software Engineering displayed their projects of Database Applications.

The exhibition’s opening ceremony took place on 22nd April. Prof. Dr. Saleem of UET Lahore was the chief guest at this occasion. The worthy Vice Chancellor UET Taxila Prof. Dr. Habibullah Jamal, Dean Faculty of Telecommunication and Information Engineering (FT & IE) Prof. Dr. Zafrullah, Dr. Khawar Islam, Dr. Adnan Habib, Dr. Adeel Akram, faculty members of FT & IE and specialists from NARC visited the exhibition to appreciate students’ hard work. The students from all the departments of UET Taxila also showed great interest in the projects during their visit.

The exhibition was closed on 23rd April by the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Habibullah Jamal. The ceremony ended with prize distribution to the winners.
