SITUATION VACANT
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has initiated a Foreign Faculty Hiring Program (FFHP) to recruit highly qualified faculty from abroad for supervising graduate research programs in different public sector universities/institutions in Pakistan. Applications are invited from experts in all fields , and particularly from academic disciplines related to science, technology and engineering . The duration of the contract will be at least 1 year, and extendable for multiple years:
GOALS
To hire 300 foreign faculty members each year for the next 5 years to address the lack of qualified research academicians and Ph.D. Supervisors in the higher education sector in Pakistan; To impact a modern and progressive outlook to research-based academic programmes, in Pakistani universities, and set norms of international academic standards; To create a nexus for linkages between local and foreign institutions, encouraging long-term sustainable scientific collaboration. Monthly Salary packages Approximately $ 1300 to $ 4300
Who Should Apply?
Minimum 5 years post doctorate experience of working abroad in a reputable academic and/or research & development institution; The applicant may be a foreign national or an expatriate Pakistani who is permanently settled abroad. The faculty members hired under this program are expected to have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
