ADMISSION NOTICE
Undergraduate Courses (2007-Entry)

Applications are invited from the candidates for all categories (including Non-subsidized) for admission to the following undergraduate courses:

• Electronics Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering

1. Eligibility:

a) FSc (Pre-Engineering) or its equivalent examination passed with a minimum of 60% marks, excluding NCC,
Hifz-e-Quran marks, where applicable.

b) Should have appeared in the combined entry test conducted by UET, Lahore on 10-09-2006

2. Prospectus including Application Forms shall be available at a cost Rs.300/- per copy on all the working days with effect from 24-01-2007.

a. Habib Bank Ltd. UET Taxila Branch from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon

The prospectus can also be obtained by post sending bank draft of Rs. 400/- issued by any branch of Habib Bank Ltd. In favor of the Treasurer, University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila. Payable at Habib Bank Ltd. UET Taxila Branch. Only bank drafts are acceptable.

3. Starting date for receipt of applications	31-01-2007
4. Last date for receipt of applications	10-02-2007
5. Hifiz-e-Quran Test	16-02-2007 at 9:00 AM
6. Merit List will be displayed on University Notice Board & Official Web Site.
7. No separate Call Letter will be sent to the students.

c. Third List	06-03-2007
8. Registration of Students	12-03-2007
9. Starting of Classes	13-03-2007

By Hand: in the Admission Office (Civil Engineering Block), UET Taxila on all working days (Monday through Saturday) from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm (up to 2.00 pm on the last day).

By Post: to the Convener, Admission Committee under Registered A.D. cover.

Note:

2. The applications received after 2.00 pm on the last day shall not be entertained, irrespective of the date and mode of their dispatch.
3. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
4. The University will not provide Hostel facility at its Sub Campus Chakwal.
5. The Students having domicile of district Chakwal can also apply for the seats reserved for Distt. Chakwal.
