1. MAKING AN INTERCOM CALL

·   Lift the hand set and dial three digit extension number from [400~699]

·   The intercom extensions of old exchange can also be accessed by dialing digit [2]. A dial tone will be heard, now desired extension number from [200~350] can be dialed.

·   The extensions of old exchange can dial new exchange by dialing [0] first then desired number of new exchange.

 

2. MAKING AN OUT SIDE CALL

·   Lift the hand set and dial [0] to get assigned outside RWP/ISB trunk line. A dial tone will be heard, now desired number can be dialed.

·   Lift the hand set and dial [9] to get assigned outside TXL (Local) trunk line. A dial tone will be heard, now desired number can be dialed.

 

3. CALLS WITH PRE-PAID CARD

An NWD/ISD call can also be made through pre-paid cards. Dial [7] to get a dedicated outside (Taxila) line then follow the procedure of your card.

 

4. TRANSFER THE CALL

·   To transfer a call (either local or trunk) press cradle (hook flash) for half a second, or flash button if available on your telephone set, then dial the extension number where this call is desired to be transferred. When dialed extension picks up the phone, place your hand set on-hook.

·   To retrieve this call back, if dialed extension is busy or do not want to talk, press cradle or flash button again.

5. CALL BACK ON BUSY (Camp on)

When a busy tone is heard from dialed extension, press cradle, or flash button, and dial [11], a confirm tone will be heard. Now place the hand set on-hook. When the busy party will finish the call, exchange will automatically make a call for you.

 

6. INTRUDE ON BUSY

When a busy tone is heard from dialed extension, press cradle, or flash button, and dial [12]. A call waiting beep will be heard by the busy party to indicate that an emergency call is waiting.

 

7. ALARM SETTING

Lift the hand set and dial [15], now enter the time using 24 hour format as HHMM.

 

8. DIRECTED PICKUP

To pick another ringing extension, lift the handset and dial [19] and 3 digits of ringing extension number, you will get the call.

 

9. FORWARD ALL CALLS

·   To divert all of your incoming calls to some other extension, lift the hand set and dial [3881] and then dial the extension number where calls are desired to be forwarded.

·   To cancel call forward, dial   [3880]

 

 

* FLASH means to press the cradle for half a second or press the flash button if available on your telephone set.
